Chain Shortcut

Here is how I cut matching chain lengths for earrings.

First, I first snip the length I want.

I snip one of the links open.

I take a headpin or piece of wire and thread the cut piece of chain alongside the length I'm going to snip next.

I make my cut while holding up the headpin.
